GfxCore is a part of 2016. GfxCore is an integral of the rendering pipeline, and is a transition layer from ROBLOX to machine rendering API. In the source code, it includes specific code for DirectX9, DirectX12, OpenGL, GLEW (for Android & iOS), etc. It is related to App, which is the core Roblox engine.
